My brand new shoes for 2011 !!!
Few years ago, I was raving about my black leather Converse that set me back $99 and well, it's showing much wear and tear now. The sides are splitting and the soles are a little flat at the heel area but thankfully no holes!
As much as I love my Converse, it's not suitable for work (it looks VERY odd with work pants) and it's still rather teen-ish per say. The uh.. rubber white front and sides.. make it look too casual and the cutting makes my feet look bigger too. So I wanted to upgrade my sneakers look and have them more lady-like and mature/classy.
I have my eyes on Geox for some time but they are very pricey shoes. My boots are a similar brand (bought in Italy) and I know how comfy they can be. And I made up my mind that despite whatever price tag, I will get a Geox for 2011..
Lo and behold! I went out with my cuzzies today and we went Paragon for dessert. It's late and there were hardly anybody shopping. I spotted Geox and thought about popping in just to see the models. Was not intending to buy yet.
AND I saw this pair of beauty and my heart was stolen. The best part? The $148 price tag had a 50% off and they had my size! I wore it, sashayed a little and whipped out my credit card. Ended up paying $75 only and brought this gorgeous baby back.
These shoes are made for walking (and work) !! *coo*
