Following the gloomy post I had, I decided to do some painting to fetter my time away. I always like art and attended some art classes when I was in primary school (those extra courses in RCs. I learn more on crayons though.).

In tkgs, I joined the Art Club but subsequently quitted coz I wanted to stay home on Sats to catch X-Men cartoon. We didn't have a VCR then! *excuses*

So I still had my painting stuff on the table (was supposed to continue decorating my own calendar, see the Moof post). Dug out my sketchpad that had one last drawing paper left and decided to just splash some colors on it. Not sure why I had the urge to do so, maybe feeling nostalgic and somehow missing it. All I did everyday was to stare at the pc. So it was pretty relaxing and it lifted my mood.

Thinking of those waterfall-in-forest scene next. But hmm.. abit high level.
Not sure how to draw water shades.

I have been feeling grouchy ever since I came back, a sign of depression?? ZOMG!

Anyway, I thought I would look at (my job) in a new light and get into a rejuvenated state. But I ended up focusing -too hard- (if there is such a thing) and I think I got too involved. Upset at little screw ups, frustrated at obstacles and just feeling anal about every small molehills. Soooo unsavvy. And with that frown on my face, I think I brought the mood down. Haha had colleagues asking why my face so black, when I ASSUMED that was my serious-must-work-hard face.

Oh well, it IS just a job. A rather nice one and I want to continue LIKING it. If I don't, there will be a tiny seed of discontent. Which will make me miserable and you know what happens next.

So chin up， 放开 and well, just don't dwell/think too much. Not good for the heart. Lol.

Fark 'seriousness'. Focus my own way and be myself.

Art & Crafting on a Sat

My colleague and I bought some calendars for the Animal Lovers League charity drive. Well, I promised to decorate for her but never got round to doing it. (and yeah, it's March. oops)

Decided not to delay anymore and whipped out my drawing stuff last night. Started at 10pm and inclusive of breaks (aka anime watching), I finished the arting at 5am. *stones badly*

Wheee, what a day!

Busy social day :)

Woke at 10.30am to meet my EC to go play at the pet farm. It's at Pasir Ris Drive, so thank goodness EC drove, coz it's a damn ulu spot. Anyway, there weren't much pets to play with. Just some furball kitties in a cage and we had major shopping trip at the Pet Mega Store. EC bought 2 packs of food for her kitties, I bought Azmira and treats for my boy-boy. Hahaha splurge!

Noonish, I alighted at Tamp Interchange to grab my lunch. Waited for Brud n SM to go Tupperware exchanging. Spent a long time there though, queue and all. Had a tea break at Kovan and by the time I reached home, it was near 6pm.

Went out again at 8+pm to meet Eh for a chat and we did jigsaw puzzle! Well it wasn't completed but hey good effort man. We actually managed the frame and the face. Experience ++

So that was my Saturday ;)
Feels good to run about outside meeting friends and doing stuff. Heh.

Busy with work ever since I came back from the holiday trip.

In addition, other stuff has been going wanky around me.

Mood is bad. Something is festering inside. And I don't like it.
