My Sunday

You know those A4 boxes that you find discarded in your school's photocopy shop? And students will kop them away to file their stuff...

Anyway there's plenty of them lying around my office so I kop one to put my files coz I have limited space on my table. I rather let them 'stand' then stack them all up. It's easier to search.

On Friday, before knocking off from work, I doodled abit on the box (white space above the company's name etc) and drew Sherman the Shark holding a sign "My Files". Rather crude and abit uneven.. and it sorta killed the whole thing. And to use liquid paper on the box is abit duh and I can't put the box back since I have already 'ruined' it. Throw away also abit wasted la.

So today! I took a piece of white paper and drew a proper 'scene' in the middle so I can bring to office tomorrow and paste over the initial drawing and the printed words (on the box).

Here's my pic for my box.. kekekek oh btw, erm all pics are copyrighted by the original artist Jim Toomey, coz I'm using his characters from Sherman's Lagoon. Lol.

The pics ARE from SL but it's not this one proper panel. I took from a few and mix match abit. Drew using free hand but of course use pencil to aga-aga the position first. No tracing but I need the pics infront of me to see-and-copy. Normal pose can still doodle on paper but cheem ones I can't :

Full screen shot. It's abit dark though, using my web cammie. But something screwed up so I can't tweak the lighting etc... argh

Left hand side.... Minor problem with Sherman's tail. Over shot the line, and my liquid paper dried up. Tomorrow fix it ;) Shall scan my drawing in before I paste over the box. I tend to keep little snapshots of my 'pirated art'. But it's a hassle to keep taking out my webcam... sigh digicam!

Bob the Bottom-Dweller. He looks so 'oogish', I took a snap shot of him and did some PI-ing to make it brighter.

Well.. hmm that's about all the excitement for my Sunday..
