GPB went to the Hair for Hope, head shaving charity thing for CCF today.

Kudos to him for taking it all off. Hair, I mean. Heh.

Another great outing and fantastic dinner at Sakae Sushi.

Work has been very busy. So too tired to blog anything.

Peace out folks :)

Yoho Yoho, a pirate's life for me...

Watched POTC2 today with EH and YF.
Zomg, I am sooooooooo in love with Captain Jack Sparrow now. Johnny Depp is damn good looking. As for the rest of the cast, fark them all.
*swoons and goos* *have many pink hearts floating above my head*
The story is not bad, the usual adventure type but injected with humour at appropriate moments. Some scenes abit draggy but not say dull. Overall, can watch. *swoons again*

Off the net

Got this from the official Church of Satan website.
Regarding their commandments. Interesting... ... food for thought

The Nine Satanic Statements
from The Satanic Bible, ©1969
by Anton Szandor LaVey

1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!
2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!
5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!
7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!
9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!
The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth
by Anton Szandor LaVey ©1967

1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
3. When in another’s lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
9. Do not harm little children.
10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.
Some of the rules are pretty common sense-ish, then others make you nod your head and agree BUT you wouldn't go ahead with it either. Like destroying someone? I think the statements are phrased in a more 'gung-ho' manner. Just whack la!
The rules are more 'practical' in a way, I suppose. Instead of looking at the big picture, it's talking more on 'self'. Me, myself and I. Actions that serve YOU well. Though I'm not sure about treating an irritating guest cruelly and without mercy. Does that apply in 1967?
Lol, no offence to anyone here ok? It's always good to keep an open mind. And I'm certainly not promoting (duh, I'm an Atheist). It's just something to discuss.

Cosmo~

Just borrowed this book (technically it was EH who did so)! Looks interesting.
Should turn out to be a very good read ;)

Also, I recommend taking a look at this site.
http://www.tenthdimension.com/flash2.php
I am considering buying the book.

ZOMG, the 10th dimension is a POINT!

And to me, as quoted from the first book by Michio Kaku,
"The Universe always was and always will be."

Office SpringClean

Oog, time: 1.18pm, day: saturday

AND IM IN THE FREAKING OFFICE DOING SPRING CLEANING!
*sigh* Preparation for ISO mah, so old and useless files gotta throw out and make way/rearrange the later ones.
Well, my whole dept is here and heh, it's rather fun too la. Coz we blasted Tanya's latest cd and had alot of chattering.
Just came back from lunchie. Boss treated us to fish head curry! Had other dishes like fried chicken, stir fry long beans, mutton pieces w curry and niang dou fu w yummy sauce. The fishhead wasn't very spicy so it's a very good meal. Heh.
Backie to work! And my poor hands are getting very dry from the carrying of boxes and the dust. Got eczema mah. So ultra sensitive to such things. Very dry and a few fingertips abit flakish liao. :(
Enjoy your weekend peops!

I can't dance!

Gah... Had my first lesson for 'Aerobics Dance' today!
7pm-8pm, every Thursday at Kem CC (yes people, we DO have activities at our kampong)
There were a few new people but mainly the class consisted of old-bies. Cut the story short, I had a hard time keeping up. Main problem: Hand-eye coordination sucks
Teacher kicked left, I kicked right. She moved front, I moved back. Ugh!
Well on a good note, at least I didn't wham into anybody. It was a good workout. The class will last for 12 lessons but its continual basis la. So I would be registering for a new class when this is over.
And the music... LOL. Techno oldies. Haha!

Schweet!

Suddenly thought of this candy that I was crazy over during Uni days.

I haven't seen this brand for a long long time. Like browsing thru Cheers or 7-11, I don't seem to see it anymore (or maybe it's just me).

You guys still see this pack of sweet now?

Saturday Celeb

Whee, on Saturday, went out with Brud and gf, Ad and JJ.

It was a superbly fun day where we did some shopping and went to Siglap to eat.
Werner's Oven! A pretty cool german restaurant/cafe. For those who love pickled cabbages, large juicy sausages and pork knuckles, this is the place to go. And the calamari is FANTASTIC.
Piccies!!:
Waiter!
Foodo!
Mmm...
Group pic after din din
After dinner, we wanted to go ECP to celebrate birthday for Ad and JJ. Even though erm, it's very early to do so. Hahahah... But we have our reasons.
Drove about (coz the places we wanted to go were too crowded) till we reach Seletar. Many cars parked along the strech. It's a nice area to enjoy the breeze and cut cake under the moonlight. We ate nice fudgy choco cake. The wind was too strong so our candle-blowing scene was quite 搞笑. Heh.
Brud drove all of us back and nope, we didn't get lost today.
*pooped out*

What a Friday

Summary:

- Tired but fulfilling day at work

- Went to Blood Bank @ HSA. Mmm.. bloood. I got a yellow bumblebee bandage and a 'stress heart' to squish

- 4 of us after the donation drive wanted to go eat at Newton Circus. Drove all the way there, too crowded and went to Zion Road.. no parking so we stopped at Great World City instead. And yay, we ended up eating Yoshinoya coz it was the more promising place to find food given the late hour.

- Shopped a little at SaSa and GPB bought stuff there.

- Brud sent all of us back. First gf, then GPB, then me. What a fantastic journey. GPB's place is farking ulu la! Worse than mine, ok!! So managed to reach Paya Lebar way. Last stop is mine. And GPB gave directions. Turn left at junction. Count 3 traffic lights and turn left to PIE. Exit Eunos link. Sounds simple enough?

Yeah, it should be. But me and Brud are lost case la. I'm the directionless road hazard and he's just directionless. So put us together and we have a classic case.

Reached the third traffic light and we made an immediate left turn which brought us to a carpark of an industrial building. Wow. 5 mins left alone and we got lost.

U-turned and popped out of the carpark and we managed to hit PIE. Happily travelled to Eunos exit and BAM, we saw this huge Honda sign and WOW, we were now at Ubi, travelling on the road toward Hougang. Well done.

So we continued down the road and made a U-turn, followed bus 854 and managed to reach my place.

Imagine if we brudders join Amazing Race.

Bon Voyage!

To my dear pal, EH who left for BKK on Saturday and will be back on Wed.
Sorry for not msging you earlier! Muacks, have fun and take care!!!! You deserve the good break ;)
*HUGS*

I hate ants... T_T

I'm back folks!! But down with a runny nose and a slight cough. It's mild so I should be slightly grateful that I don't have difficulty breathing, fever or aching bones.
Drank loads of water during the chalet and green bean soup. Didn't eat much actually coz was afraid of making my throat worse. My colleagues gave alot of care and concern, so I felt pretty fuzzy inside. ^^
On Friday, I ate two small helpings of noodles with fishfingers and luncheon meat. Wee middle of night, ate a fish burger from Macs. Then on Sat, ate spaghetti (it was verry goood) and for BBQ, ate some chilli crabs (thanks to my pending-boss!!), small helping of meefen, 1 sotong ball, 2 mini sausages, 1 chicken satay, 1 piece of ketupat, 1 cereal prawn and 1 one piece of fried fish meat. Hmm that's all. No chicken wings or otah for me.
We celebrated June/July birthdays for our fellow peons after the bbq, and we had mango and durian cake. I ate one piece of durian cake before calling it the night. Got quite hungry while watching soccer but no appetite la.
All in all, it was fun. A total nua session. More for me, coz I napped abit to rest my body. Played mahjong where I'm a total looooo-seh. My goodness, such cheem rules (to me). Well they are basic rules la but I haven't touch mahjong for like a year plus. And my mahjong sessions with friends occur like once a year? My friends are all mj noobs so we just do away with rules that we don't understand or find it too mahfan. Hahaha, that's why during chalet, playing with 'pros' was a bit jialat. I perpetually had a 'wha-, why? huh?' expression on my face. In addition to being doped on panadol flu tablets.
One last thing to add: FREAKING ANTS EVERYWHERE! ZOUNDS, I HATE ANTS!
Avaunt! Avaunt, cursed creatures!
